Polkadoodles - Snowdrift Friends

 Morning Crafters,

I am back with some more Christmas inspiration from Polkadoodles.

The design team were tasked with creating a card using Christmas images which featured a closure of some kind.

For my closure element, I created a magic iris card which features the cutest snowy scene ever using the snow drift friends. 



I first started with creating the iris element which I die cut using the lawn fawn magic iris with cover plate add on. I ink blended the sky using Distress Oxide inks in the colour salty ocean and faded jeans. I sprayed water over the background to create an oxidised effect. 

I die cut a snow bank using the lawn fawn hills die which I covered in spectrum noir clear sparkle pen to create a gorgeous sparkle and adhered it directly to the magic iris cover plate.

The snow drift friends. image was coloured using my spectrum noir markers which I then fussy cut and adhered on top of the snow bank.

The sentiment I used on the card is "all hearts come home for Christmas" from the Winnie White Christmas sentiments bundle which is revealed when the magic iris element is in the open position.

To finish the card off I added some white gelly roll pen to create falling snow in the background and added some yellow glitter stars to create a snowy night scene.

  Good Morning everyone, this morning I bring to you an infinity shaker card which I have created with the theme of Mermaid/Ocean and using a specific colour palette. I started my project by working on the background, which I ink blended using distress oxide inks using the above colour palette. I sprayed with water giving an oxidized effect which looks like bubbles. For my image, I used  Winnie Mermaid Mermazing - Octopus Kisses , as you can see the image also matches the suggested colour palette. It was almost as if this image was made for this challenge. For my sentiment I used 'You are my rock' from the  Winnie Mermazing Mermaid quotes . I hope you all love this project as much as I do.  Happy Crafting! Polkadoodles - Interactive card using florals

Morning crafters, today I'm sharing an interactive card which has been created without the need of any specialty dies. All features of my card have been taken from the Tropical sorbet bundle which fits with the challenged colour palette that the team were required to use and also uses the floral theme too. The sentiment 'Let your Dreams Blossom' is from the Winnie Daisy Greetings, quotes and sentiments  I hope you like. Happy Crafting! Polakdoodles - Critters/animals

Morning crafters, today I've created a card with the DT theme of Critters/animals. Since I adore cats, I could not help but use  Mod the cat . In order to create my scene, I also used the chair , rug and picture frames from  Build a scene .  For the images inside the pictures, I used the butterfly from  Tropical sorbet bundle , the vase of blossoms from the  Blooms 4 bundle  and last but not least the Bear from  Bella Bear with Heart .  For my background, I used  the yellow floral paper to create wallpaper  from pretty spring papers and for the floor I used  brown textured paper  from the cactus succulent printable papers.  I coloured the images using my spectrum noir alcohol markers and finished the card using the sentiment 'I'm so sorry' which is from the  Winnie Daisy quotes and sentiments bundle .  I think the card just shows you how versatile all the different images and bundles are from Polkadoodles and showcases how amazing digital crafting is as you can adapt an
